I got a massage from the awesome massage therapist Michelle Hollik and I had a fantastic experience! She took care in giving me a treatment unique to my needs and really discussed with me what I was looking to get out of my appointment. I highly recommend this place to anyone; they really take an individually tailored approach with each treatment!
So lovely to see progress easing pain I‘ve put up with for years. All staff I’ve met have been kind, accommodating, and attentive. Very comforted to see steps in place to reduce the risk of spread for COVID-19. Going to a physio appointment doesn’t feel like a chore or a burden anymore - it’s become something I actually look forward to!
Human Integrated Performance is a phenomenal clinic. Great team & ownership. Anyone who needs injury rehab or wants to feel better & live better, give this clinic a call.
As a medical professional skeptic, it was refreshing to go into this appointment and know exactly what to expect, pay a reasonable price, and walk out feeling better than when I went in. I have struggled with joint pain for a few years, and have gone to general practitioners in an attempt to find relief, with no success. Part of me knew a specialist would hold the answers, but never knew who I should turn to, knowing that each profession would surely guarantee they would solve all of my problems. Not having any kind of benefits or medical insurance has also been a deterrent for me, but Human Integrated Performance has fair prices and delivers results that are more than worth it.
I have had the opportunity to get to know Dr. Jeff Grykuliak as a person and chiropractor before committing to getting any kind of treatment. He was able to give insight to what he does as a chiropractor, what his guiding philosophies are, and dispel some of the general chiropractic misconceptions that exist. During my appointment Jeff explained that likely my shoulders and hips were a root cause for a lot of the pain I was feeling. He was able to explain the way the body is connected and show me how adjusting those would affect my back overall. As someone who knows a little about fitness, I have known for a long time that I do not use my core muscles to their full potential, and have found that it was very difficult to engage them, even when making the conscious effort to do so. Since visiting Jeff I am able to use my core to maintain my posture, I can lift things using my core muscles instead of my shoulders, and can even do a proper shoulder check! Better still, Jeff showed me exercises I can do to try and keep me out of his office, which seems like a bad business model, but really helps to build trust that he has my best interest in mind.
If you, like me, have concerns that doctors are more focused on what is best for them than for you, or have concerns that you may go to a doctor and not have any idea what is going on, I can confidently say that is not the experience you will get with Dr. Grykuliak.
The care, concern, and attention of this team is spectacular. I appreciate that I don’t have to run to four different places around the city to receive different treatments—everything I need is here. The culture is really solid as well, the many practitioners often consult on what’s going on for me and provide knowledge and support for my ailments. I highly recommend this one stop shop for wellness.
