“Having over 50 years of history in the neighborhood this is a beautiful church with some great people. Still has German services once a month, and weekly worship services in English where you can hear the Word of God from a traditional Lutheran view, with a variety of music styles. This church has strongly supported building water wells in Chad through Lutheran Brethren International Mission's Living Waters program by fundraising through annual garage sales. There are many opportunities to volunteer and get involved. Due to the older age demographics the members can come off as gruff, but are very friendly and genuine once you get to know them. It is an excellent church for someone looking to connect with seniors who grew up in eastern Europe during and after WWII. ”
