Wonderful owners that really care....
Clean sites, lots of birds in the morning, very quiet campground. Water and power hookup...love the place, would recommend it fully.
The new managers seem really good, they're helpful and informative. It seems like they are trying to restore the campground to it's former glory. The campsite was a nice size with bushes and trees between other campers. Bathrooms and showers were clean and well kept. The lake looked nice but was very buggy.
Great little camp site located just 20 minutes away from Sherwood Park! Owners are lovely and very accommodating. We were camping and were happy with the generous sized lots surrounded by trees, it felt very peaceful and serene. We were thrilled there were flushing toilets and shower facilities. The bathrooms were always clean and well stocked, which was appreciated. We had a great weekend and can’t wait to go back!
The new owners have done a great job trying to revitalize this campsite. The staff/owners are down to earth and genuinely care about your stay. We tented and the sites were spacious and well kept with power a fire pit and picnic table. The neighbor noise level was minimal with a nice barrier of trees between stalls. There are flush toilets and showers available to the campers. The walk to the beach is overgrown but again the owners are working on restoring the campground. Overall loved the stay and would return. Plus it is only 20 minutes away! Highly recommend for anyone looking to get away for the bustle of the city and relax for the weekend! 5/5!
Nice retreat campground, it needs work here and there but a good place to camp. So quiet and serene. Nature around you. If you need soul searching, peace and quiet time away from the hustle and bustle of life--this is a good place for you to visit. The site managers were also very accommodating and helpful, ensuring that you have a good stay.
