Kananaskis Village Ctr

Adjacent to the Kananaskis Mountain Lodge, the village center contains a Post Office, Kananaskis Outfitters (outdoor gear and kit store) plus the Moosehead Family Cafe and it's store.

Review is mostly about the Cafe. Breakfast sandwich hits the mark on a very cold October morning, coffee is very tasty, so is the hot chocolate (according to my 9 year old). Mass variety of knick-knacks and souvenirs for those of us who like to pick up some fridge magnets on the way around Canada.

Staff at the cafe and the Outfitter store are great and very helpful, home made cookies and muffins are very good. Highly recommended stop when on the trails or staying at the hotel.

If you came to the village, this is a must see place, you will find nice little things to take home with you. Also a great place to have a tea or coffee.

Stopped on our journey to Calgary. Nice place to have a coffee or tea and hike. In November it was deserted. There is a post office and souvenir shop
