“Nice and private, but the local conservation officers will ticket you if you use ATV's between the park and trail less than half a km up the road. Be warned. We were under the impression we could come and go from the park as the website listed it as "easy atv access". Other than that we had an amazing weekend out there, even with the firebans. Staff that come through were great, place is clean and well laid out.”

“Eco Works did a great job with our interior painting and skimming of our ceiling. They were fair, honest and professional. We would definitely recommend and use Eco Works for any future painting jobs we have.”

“I met Brent (and Vicky) on Sunshine village this year. I just got into ski touring and saw them skinning up Goats Eye. I asked them a few questions and they were very eager and helpful answering them. I decided to do my AST 1 through Peak Stratagem with Brent and I found it very enjoyable and informative. Later in the season I decided to complete my AST 2 as well over the course of two weekends with Brent (and Vicky). Brent was very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. Again, the days during the course were very enjoyable and informative. Not only did I learn a lot, I also really enjoyed the course. Brent is an exceptional instructor and guide and I highly recommend Peak Stratagem.”

“Incredible service from Zach with Exshaw Auto! Very professional, friendly, and fast. I was camping just this past week out in Radium when I ran into some issues with my travel trailer tongue jack. Was not able to lift or lower the trailer as the gear was completely stripped. Called my RV roadside assistance company and they set me up with Exshaw Auto. Zach came out promptly, and had my trailer fixed in 45 mins. Rates are reasonable for emergency calls as well. I would definitely recommend to friends and family. Thanks for the great service!”

“Had an awesome time with these guys out on the river last Sunday! This is the second time I've rafted with them, and they're always very upbeat, fun, while still keeping safety in mind at all times. Had a blast, can't wait to go again! Oh and the burgers at the end were fantastic... Rafting through the Rockies and then eating meat. Sounds good to me.”

“By far the best of the best when it comes to construction services in the Bow Valley - big or small projects included. Timely, professional, efficient, and extremely high quality workmanship paired with a passion for providing customer with the best experience possible. Onsight has now provided services for us for a number of projects, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.”

“Did the Heart Creek Canyon Tour and it was such a special experience. Marc and Andrew were fantastic and encouraging guides and helped to make me feel comfortable every step of the way. Without them, there's no way I would be brave enough to do that last 60 ft rappel -- and I'm glad I did! Hell of an adrenaline rush.”

“The Jura Creek hike is a relatively easy hike. Great for families. The parking lot was more than full. The trail is well traveled and easily followed. The trek through the narrow canyons cut by the water is beautiful. The views from the valley is stunning. No wonder its such a popular hike It's also a short drive from Calgary.”

“Covid is definitely having an impact. Be ready for longer lift lines with no social distancing. Masks are required in left lines and ski patrol is doing a good job of reminding people to cover both their mouth and nose. It's outside, so that's probably better, but you stand in line for 20-30 minute. There are lines for cohorts and those riding together. However, they don't group anyone, so the lines for those willing to ride with others are much faster and you still don't ride with others. They really need better line management, especially for the Gold chair. The hill is as good as ever and the staff are friendly. Indoor services were good too, but don't expect people to be masked indoors because they are "eating". Overall, probably avoid the ski hill this year and go extra next year.”

“An ice rink in the mountains, what more could you ask for?! Open to the public and free of charge. There are picnic tables, a couple small fire pits, and a platform to put on your skates. There's an outhouse right nearby if Nature Calls. Skate Rentals are available around the corner at Kananaskis Outfitters. There's a skating Pond in the Village Center as well if you don't plan on playing hockey. If lots of snow falls on the day you are coming out. The village maintenance staff have to clear the pathways and walking paths before they get to flooding, be ready to do some snow clearing and pack a shovel or two.”

“Here for a wedding reception. Tasteful room. Delicious food and friendly efficient service. [The late-night onion rings were the best that I've ever had...so crunchy!] The room acoustics could be addressed to lessen the noise but I would definitely recommend this location.”

“Adjacent to the Kananaskis Mountain Lodge, the village center contains a Post Office, Kananaskis Outfitters (outdoor gear and kit store) plus the Moosehead Family Cafe and it's store. Review is mostly about the Cafe. Breakfast sandwich hits the mark on a very cold October morning, coffee is very tasty, so is the hot chocolate (according to my 9 year old). Mass variety of knick-knacks and souvenirs for those of us who like to pick up some fridge magnets on the way around Canada. Staff at the cafe and the Outfitter store are great and very helpful, home made cookies and muffins are very good. Highly recommended stop when on the trails or staying at the hotel.”
