I have never been one to wear slip in sandals outdoors - find that I lose them, but these were great around the house and garage. Yesterday I visited the shop on the farm and had a back-strap added. Wow, what a difference! Now I'm comfortable wearing these sandals anywhere - including for our upcoming European trip. These sandals are still almost new after 6+ years.
