“My friends and I stopped in Champion for gas... Sadly there was none. However, there was this delightful little Ice cream shop! The lady working the very COVID friendly outdoor window was friendly and delightful. Perhaps more delightful than her was the ice cream and drinks we bought from her. A welcome treat on a hot day! Even if we run out of gas on our way to Vulcan, atleast we will have had tasty ice cream!”

“I love that this little village of champion has a swimming pool and the skating rink and the campground as well. I like to go swimming on a warm summer day and I like going skating in the afternoon after school in the winter. If your choosing to live here I would recommend it.”

“Had a great experience with B & D Roofing. They installed our shingles at Lake McGregor about 9 yrs ago. I had heard (word of mouth) they were the most dependable roofing company in Vulcan County. The installation stood up well against some very crazy southern AB wind storms over the years. We had two shingles break in the violent storm this past Canada Day Weekend. I called them for a service call, they came when they said they would & completed the replacement of the two shingles. Good as new! Hard to beat such great pricing, workmanship, & reliability!
