Let me share why our Kids go to Prairie Christian Academy. Prairie is an excellent school academically and has a long history of excellence in sports. HOWEVER: The reason our kids attend here is this: Prairie is a place our Children are taught by many adults to love and fear God. As a Christian Parent this is of the utmost importance to me. Over the course of each year, the Bible instruction has my kids memorizing approximately 50 Bible verses. In other classes the kids learn not just about the world and math, but ultimately about how God directs all things. The School works hard to have all the adults who instruct my children instill Biblical world views in them. To me the value is this: I can teach my Children to love and obey God. I can instruct them int he Christian faith. They also get this in Church, and from confirmation, etc. However it is good for them to also hear this in school. Prairie works WITH the parents to guide the Children in the knowledge of God. This more then anything is why I value the education Prairie gives.
