I hired Josh and Aftermath Fitness in Fall 2019 and he continues to be my personal fitness consultant today. I'm 42 and a busy professional in my own right. In my adult life, I've admittedly struggled w/ accountability in my personal health, fitness and nutrition. I feel I have reasonable objectives and Josh has really done a great job of coming alongside me to support that. We started out w/ regular sessions at CityFit, and then pivoted to online workouts during COVID and now are back to see one another 3x / week at King's Fitness. I am in close and constant contact w/Josh about my status, progression and needs. He is safe to share intimate details of my health care profile with. In addition to his excellent knowledge base of health and fitness, I appreciate his holistic approach to wellness. He has brought to bear other professional alliances to help including a naturopath and chiropractic expertise and I am grateful. My body composition is improving month over month, my confidence is rising as well. My overall quality of life has improved and my mind is more focused day today. I happily recommend Josh to the community at large. You will immediately notice Josh's personal touch and care with you as well as his relatability and stories. His enthusiasm is infectious and he is great to be around. It's easy to see why his fitness consultancy is growing by leaps and bounds. I see a long-term partnership forming and I am hopeful for how his contributions will positively impact my overall well-being and longevity.
Josh is a knowledgeable and incredibly down to earth personal trainer. His past career role has fueled him well for having a great balance of medical knowledge, practical insight to bodily function and where the trials and tribulations of form can impact anyone's situation. Josh's mature approach to body assessments and providing advice for fixing issues will serve him well while he continues to excel in this fitness industry. His approachable nature keeps me engaged and wanting to provide him updates about my own developments, even if there aren't active sessions taking place. His Aftermath Instagram videos are also fun, educational and a great way to experience his brilliant sense of humour. I will attend any speaking sessions he gives and 100% respect his candor and strive to deliver accurate and honest industry information. He also has a great following of other industry professionals that will vouch for him, which also adds to his long list of accolades. Keep up the motivational work!
Josh is a really excellent trainer. He's very knowledgeable, which has helped me improve considerably, in both form and strength building. But the thing that has impressed me most about Josh, is his supportive attitude. He is unfailingly positive about progress, and inspires me to try harder. If you're looking for a good experience at the gym, with both expertise and some fun thrown in, this is the place to be.
Josh is an awesome personal trainer whom you can trust to achieve your goals. He exhibits a strong knowledge of strength training and how the body works. He is very passionate about proper form on each exercise and can clearly diagnose any problem areas preventing you from reaching your full capabilities. The workout plans are focused, fit to your goals, and based on strong fundamentals. He is passionate about helping the clients he works with and this shows through his follow-up and communication in between work outs. I have had a positive experience working with Josh and would strongly recommend him as a personal trainer!
I cannot say enough good things about Josh. I have been working with him for about 3 months now and I have never felt better about myself or what my body can do. Josh is extremely supportive but he also keeps me accountable and calls me out when I need it. I’ve loved every workout and really appreciate how he plans for my unique goals.
