Barbecues Galore - South Calgary

Not a pushy sales experience, overall a pleasant visit with quick sales help. Very knowledgeable people. One issue I have with their website is that it infers free delivery, setup and old barbecue recycling. This is not the case as that service costs 120$. I found that to be a little misleading.

Update: Management figured out who I was and got the situation rectified. Definitely know they strive to obtain their customers trust, satisfaction and to provide excellent customer service. The fire table was delivered on time and was set up efficiently by Will, who was quite knowledgeable. I appreciate his expertise and friendly demeanour. The table was a bit scratched where the metal fire insert goes but all in all, quite happy with the service and the table. Now I hope the weather cooperates so I can enjoy the summer nights with the nice fire!

Came to the store to buy a fire table. Paid for the table and glass cover. Went home and now I get a call to say I need to come back to pay for something they undercharged me for. I paid almost $2,000 so I didn’t think anything of it, which took the cashier 20 minutes to process. I live by the airport and the only reason why I went to that location was to buy a table that I could see, touch and feel. I wonder if they are going to pay for my gas to drive all the way there. Not sure why it’s my problem....they should train their staff better so they could ring it in properly so this doesn’t happen! What if I lived in Airdrie???!!! This is ridiculous.

Went shopping for a new BBQ. No place has what I was looking. Seems it is out of fashion. Stock of anything is low and limited selection. The people here was very friendly and we were checked up on several times, to verify if we were in the need of help. We were happy to head back to pick up from here as other stores did not even look at us. So my point... Remember stock and selection this year is limited. Barbecues Galore will try to look after you better then most places and most of the staff is very knowledgeable. Thank you for our BBQ and the promise of looking after us.

I take my BBQ pretty seriously and have purchased BBQs, grills and smokers here. The service is excellent and staff very knowledgeable. They also have one of the selections of accessories so if you need BBQ tools or pizza stones or smoke boxes... they have them here. HINT: check out their section of charcoal and wood chips. Ask them to teach you how to use a smoke box in your gas grill to let you BBQ and get all that yummy flavour!
