Over the past number of years I've had numerous dealings with Universal Slate and each one has been a very pleasant experience. I have purchased tile for a commercial building that I was in charge of and the tile arrived on schedule and the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable in helping me choose the right tile for the application. I've purchased granite counter tops and tile for my own personal use and there again the staff went above and beyond to ensure that I was completed satisfied with the product. I strongly recommend USI for any of your tiling/counter top requirements. There job is not done until the customer is satisfied.

Sad and surprised to see other different comments as this is one of my favorite stone stores in Calgary. It carries many very distinctive quality product with reasonable price. Employees are very helpful, trying their best to help you. I encountered a female worker whose name I don't know who is very diligent and friendly. The male worker Scott spent 30 minutes or longer showing me their factory and warehouse to help me find a product I was looking for. They have a great many of beautiful slate in varied size in the warehouse. Their product seems very high quality with normal price. Although I didn't find the ultra thin stone slate I wanted eventually as few stores in Canada actually has such product, I felt very thankful for their good service and was impressed with the wealth of the stone it has. It is a place I will want to come back even I need no stone. Viewing its collection itself is a pleasure. will recommend it to all stone lovers
