Amaranth Whole Foods Market

Very nice, clean, well stocked store with helpful staff. This is not a bare bones bargain store so expect retail prices, but they have a large, quality selection and a helpful, friendly staff so that's what you're paying for.

I absolutely love shopping here. The customer service is impeccable and the products are great. A couple of times I have purchased products that were spoiled and they took them back, no questions, unlike similar stores nearby. I've been shopping here for years and highly recommend it!

I've been shopping at Amaranth for a variety of items for years. They are one of the best I know of for stocking lots of good quality gluten-free options. And, though they are smaller than the big Community Health and Planet Organic shops, they do carry some items that you cannot find at these other major stores. I also really like their personal care section, as there are some amazing organic products at much better prices than even the crappy, artificial stuff one finds at Walmart, etc. Helpful, friendly staff who will happily run to the back to check if an out-of-stock item has come in. The only reason I dock one star is that their prices can be inconsistent, as in some items are comparable to or better than other stores, but sometimes significantly higher; because of this, I'll go to the other shops for these really pricey items.
