I have gone here a few times for oil changes. I wanted to get my winter tires changed (which I usually do myself, but felt going here would be convenient). I had a balancing and all 4 winter tires taken off. The employees were nice, but seemed scattered as they kept going to each bay and interchanging with each car. This caused the tire change to take a very long time. While the work was being done; they had trouble getting one of the lug nuts off the driver side with the drill. The employee then talked with another worker, and they decided to get a breaker bar/torque wrench and snapped/break the lug nut and screw off. They came and said we think this was on to tight, and we broke it. Now I understand that this can sometimes happen having seen it before on cars. What I did not like was that. If they were having trouble with the lug nut why did they not tell me before deciding to force it off and break it. I should have had the choice considering it is my car for them to try and force it off, or be told that they are having trouble with it, and I could decide to take it somewhere else, or consent to them trying to force it off. I was not given any choice or consultation. After they broke it i waited another 30 minutes while they worked on other cars. A different employee came and said that they broke it, and they were sorry. They also said they didn't fully put on another lug nut on the front passenger side. I waited another 25-30 minutes and the same employee that apologized said they wanted to see if it was safe to drive off with. I said okay and then had to wait again about another 25 minutes. The same employee came back and said we will leave a note for our manager to call you in the next 2 days, and will see if we can fix the bolt we broke, or you can take it to a Walmart Mr lube and we will fix it there after the manager calls you. I said sure I will wait for the call. Expecting to hear back and have the manager offer to fix what they broke. Which would have been maybe 5-10 bucks for another screw. I was not expecting them to cover any labor or anything as it was just the bolt that they chose to force off without asking me to do, or at least give me small discount on the tire change to cover that damage. I waited 2 days. The manager did call me in the late afternoon 2 days later. All he said was the employees said they broke the screw off when changing the tire and we are sorry. No offer was made to cover the cost of a new screw, no discount was offered on the tire change which took over an hour and a half, and the manager hardly gave me the time on the phone. Not to mention when I was waiting to go into the bay they gave me a flyer that said what services they offer with no prices. $90 for a super long tire change which involved no information when they had a problem an no offer to fix what they broke I feel is over priced, and not great service. I will not be returning in the future because i did not feel I got value, or good service with the discretion on the work being done.

After posting this review. A reply was posted to contact Prairie Lube. I did contact them by e-mail, and phone and talked with Will and Don. They took my feedback very seriously and were apologetic about my experience. It was nice to see a company take feedback seriously and openly. They informed me they would follow up with the location to work on improvements. I also received a gift card and personalized apology letter by mail that was hand signed and was very appreciated. Thanks for reaching out Prairie Lube and making me feel like a valued customer. The ownership and accountability you showed has wanted me to take advantage of your services again in the future. Thank you and your customer service was great.

I dropped by last minute. I had 30 mins to get an Oil Change before heading out of town. I was sent into a bay immediately. The Manager of the location served me directly and he was very friendly and accommodating. I told him I had very limited time and he said no problem we will get you out in time, and he did!. He asked me if I wanted to get a few extra things like filters, but he was not pushy when I said no. He was also very patient with me as I ended up on a work call and he needed me to rev the engine. I would highly recommend Himmat and his team they do great work.

Friendly knowledgeable staff. They did a good job, they are not pushy but they do try to upsell when they can. That being said they give fair advice on what can wait and what needs doing based on manufacturers specifications.
