“I was terrified I was never going to walk properly again after a LisFranc fracture. Two surgeries by Dr Unger and not only am I walking, but I am pain free!!! Sure I swell up sometimes (planes/over use). But from what I understand from another podiatrist it is a miracle I don’t have daily pain!! Yes his bedside manner is the worst I have ever seen... but his surgical skill is a gift!!! I wanted to be referred to someone else when I read the reviews... so glad I didn’t!!!! He is a phenomenal surgeon. Ask him questions, he’s gruff (overworked perhaps?) but he’ll give you great advice!!”
