I owe your reservations desk ladies and your garage staff a huge apology. The check out process was not perfect, and was a frustrating experience including checkout issues where the documentation that did not accurately reflect the status of the vehicle, my response at the time was not warranted and based on a very long travel day plus an associated migraine. Your staff went above and beyond to correct the situation. I do appreciate their patient caring demeanour. Now that we have arrived in Canmore after a very comfortable drive in our F-150, we couldn’t be more pleased with the vehicle your location provided. The price was excellent too. Thank you so very much and again our sincere apology.

The pick-up took a long time (from Vancouver downtown), the drop off at Calgary airport was smooth. The car was virtually brand new. No pushy sales for extra insurances. Overall it was a good experience and I'd use Avis again.

The experience was good. Nothing special. I held back one star for the odd smell in the rental car. I always seem to have a 5 star experience with Budget, but I thought I would give Avis a try. Not too bad, price was good as well.

When booking via internet, we ordered intermediate car but later found out, when phoning them, that it was compact. We had to then pay extra for car larger than compact but at the airport discovered we couldn't fit all the cases in, which we had been promised. Also not enough staff to deal with customers at some airports. However, Calgary very helpful.

Great courteous, friendly, and professional staff. I was greeted with a smile and treated very well throughout the process. Walked to the car, got in, drove off...easy! Returning it was just as easy. They scan your car, check the fuel, and let you be on your way. No hassles. Great price and great cars!!
