Smashburger

I went there earlier today (Canada Day) and enjoyed some very good food and excellent service.

Looking for a nice Burger at Deerfoot City, but not wanting anything super fancy, I decided to stop in at Smashburger in the pouring rain.

Currently they have some limited seating, so after waiting for the slow couple in front of me, I ordered a Double Bacon Smash, some tots, and a Stella. After paying and taking a seat, my Burger and tots came out after 5 minutes.

It was perfect: hot, juicy, and topped just the way I wanted it. This was a very satisfying Burger, the tots were hot and fresh, and my beer ice cold; and the service was exceedingly excellent.

Great job today folks, I will be back to this location in the future!!

Love this place! Been here for almost every one of any anniversaries and the staff are so friendly, you really feel welcomed and at home. The food always tastes fantastic no matter who’s cooking it and you never feel like an inconvenience. I appreciate this location and will be my go to place to go to burgers for now on :)

This is a chain. The folks here definitely run off some kind of corporate script in all of their interactions.

That said, this is probably one of the best, if not the best, gluten free burger available in Calgary. I have been here numerous times over several months, and it has consistently been delicious. I have not had a chance to try everything on the menu, but I'm working my way through the list.

There is even a vegan/veggie burger option if that's your jam.

Ordered a salad from there and it was great. Really nice portion size and great service. I did not expect a salad of this quality so that was a nice surprise. Employees were very friendly and helpful making the experience very enjoyable. Will be back to this location.
