  I've been to Rome for Gelato this place holds it's ground! Love it. Really, really good quality. Nice people too.

  Loved my hedgehog gelato! There was a wide range of selection of unique flavors, was extremely difficult to pick one. Loved the sorbet flavours as well. A very good find. And the best part they r open till 11 , to satisfy late night cravings.

  What a change!!
  
  We had been regulars of Amato for a few years but stopped going as we noticed that the service had gone down hill and there were less and less selection of flavours.
  
  We happened to be in the neighbourhood recently and decided to stop by. We are SO glad we did. The original owner from a few years ago is back and the change is very obvious! The customer service was great and all of the freezers were full of different gelato flavours. There were so many unique ones to try.
  
  We are really happy that the original owner is back and we will be frequenting this location more often again!

  As soon as you walk in you are greeted by the owner no matter what time. Amazing ice cream, dairy free options, classic and unique flavors. Its a great place to go :)

  My favourite place for Italian ice cream in Calgary! Such a huge variety of flavours (I found a rose flavoured gelato to die for) & I always recommend it to all of my friends. The owner was incredibly friendly and easy to have a conversation with. Down to earth and caring.
