Price wise they are the upper end of costs for what you buy. They do offer excellent extended warantee, and their customer service is pretty good. They have a variety of home appliances and entertainment accessories. They sport both Apple and Microsoft products and accessories, as well as other brands and all sorts of brands of phones and hook you up with the cell provider of your choice. I really like the screen protection they provide; you can change it at no charge whenever and for whatever reason. Up front cost for the screen protector is reasonable considering that they'll replace the protector for the lifetime of your device.
Staff were friendly and as helpful as they could be. Seemed strange they weren't able to contact their trade-in partner by phone to find out why a particular MacBook style wasn't listed in their system. Sometimes big companies forget about the small everyday interactions with their clients that can make or break an experience.
Second trip here: Came back for a price adjustment and a second online pick up. Great service at the customer service desk. Made it painless and simple to do the price adjustment and the pick up all at.once.
The staff was really nice and helpful when I decided I wanted to get a new gaming console. They helped me understand how it works, what games are worth buying and just basic gaming advice!
The store is clean too and always greeted with a smile!
I had two terrible experiences with other Best Buys in Calgary; I came to them with issues that were not all that complex and they were unable to help me, listen to me and resolve my issue.
Then I met Dexter, the Store Manager at the Northland Best Buy. He is fantastic, I have never in my life received such professional customer service. Dexter listened to me and was committed to resolving my issue, he was willing to maneuver around 'policy' to make me happy.
I've now called the store twice to speak with him and both times he helped me out. Word class customer service - Dexter, as long as you manage I am a Northland Best Buy customer for life. Seriously, if you have any issues call Best Buy, ask to speak with Dexter and he'll help you out. I will always go to this store for any and all my electronic needs.
