Pastor John is phenomenal and the messages are always interesting. “I want people to know the food, Chinese, is AMAZING from this place. We usually have it delivered & it always is delivered quickly & hot. Tonight we decided to walk down, we live nearby, & eat in. The restaurant is plain inside but very clean. We have enjoyed going down & eating there rather then doing delivery but tonight was an exception to that rule. We were welcomed by a friendly young girl who gave us menus right away & took our drink order. However, her friends, I would say all in late teens a young man & girl were there. We were the only customers in the place. These friends were so loud & irritating & the girl, not server, was VERY rude, judgemental & had a totally disrespectful attitude towards men, gay people etc. My husband & I decided that we would just order our food & take it home as just sitting & enjoying a quiet meal there was not in the cards! We noticed that when the older Chinese woman, we believe she is the owner, came into the restaurant the 3 kids toned down their voices to a respectable level. This was nice but by this time our order was made & packaged in to go containers. My opinion on Silver Gate is DEFINITELY order from there & by all means go to the restaurant & eat in. The service is very good & I truly believe what we experienced tonight is something that doesn't really happen very often or outside of tonight ever. We have never experienced this in the 7yrs we have been going there.”
