“It's nice to have a park where you don't have to worry about runners or bikers, or indeed wing on the right side of the path I have visited this park regularly over the last 5 years and find that the dogs are well socialized, want to walk and may even feel like playing...the owners are friendly and, largely, they want their dogs to socialize. Regardless of season you can hit the slopes, explore the trees and bushes and generally feel like you are away from it all...very refreshing. And, most of all you can give your dog some proper exercise in a relatively compact space. Try it, you may be surprised.”

“I have been with Dr. Danielle Baert for some time and I have always been very comfortable getting my treatments. I have been suffering from motion sickness, I couldn't watch cars or people moving their heads or waving their hands. After a few sessions of Acupuncture this problem as gone away. Another problem i was having where my feet, On average i walk about 18,000 foot steps in an 8 hour time frame in steel toe boots. My feet where just killing me. After a few sessions of Acupuncture my pain as gone away. I highly recommend Dr. Danielle Baert, her knowledge is excellent and she is a great at educating the patient on pressure points.”

“I have been to a lot of physio clinics in my life and I can say that without a doubt Ranchlands Physiotherapy has been the best experience. No one likes to do rehab and they know that. But, they are smart in that they created a work culture that is casual and fun, yet professional and personal. They have this vibe that radiates authenticity and strays away from every other corporate clinic/corporate culture. They seem to genuinely care for their patients rather than view them as dollar signs, which is nice for a change. When it comes to customer service they also go above and beyond for their clients. You get greeted as soon as you enter, you get exceptional services from their therapists and they provide you with exercises that you can do at home (with an app that allows you to re-watch videos on how to properly do the exercises). They also direct bill to a plethora of insurance companies. If your insurance company is not on their list, they will actively attempt to contact them to allow for direct billing to make it easier for you! I have had the great pleasure of working with Jonathan (Physiotherapist) for my injuries. He has extensive knowledge in regard to anatomy, physiology and sports injuries. He listens and tries to help you as much as he can. What I most appreciate about them is that he takes the time to search for the root cause of the injury, rather than only focusing on my pain areas. I also love that you get to work with the Physio for the treatments and a Kinesiologist for the exercise portion. This multi-disciplinary approach is something that most people do not appreciate enough. Overall Grade: Price = Cheaper than most clinics in the area Front end/support staff = 10/10 Therapists = 10/10 highly recommend Jonathan Culture = 10/10 Location = 9.5 /10 Ease of billing and scheduling = 10/10”

“I’ve been coming to The Yoga Studio of Calgary for over one year now after years and years of trying out different studios - it is hands down my favourite yoga studio. They have an amazing variety of different classes for all skill levels and each and every one of their instructors brings their unique knowledge and personality to the practices – they’re all amazing individuals and instructors! Regardless of body type or fitness level, once you get on the mat, the instructors really do stand by and encourage you. Marcy, in particular, is an amazing instructor. She is such a kind hearted individual and you tell she teaches yoga from the heart and it shines through in her classes. She truly cares about you and your practice. Marcy brings in these two-sided chips that allow you to tell her whether she can adjust your position if you need it, or, if you’re not feeling like being bothered, you can indicate it on your chip. But, like I said earlier, all of the instructors there are amazing - I have never been disappointed in any of the classes there. My favourite classes are the Yoga Flow classes, especially if it’s in a warm room! They definitely make you sweat but feel at peace at the same time – going to yoga classes here is literally my happy place. Many of the Yoga Flow classes are challenging and extremely rewarding, allowing for a more intense and fulfilling practice. If you want a more relaxing, meditative class, the Restorative Yoga or Yin Yoga classes are great for that! I also have lower back issues and love going to the Yoga for Better Back classes. I would HIGHLY recommend The Yoga Studio of Calgary, I’ve tried so many around the city and this is by far the best one.”
