The valley itself has lots of shade once youre about halfway into the boardwalk and it is pictureque. It all leads down to the Bow where there is a small waterfall and a little climb up to a view of the Bow River. Highly reccomend.

There's a boardwalk that takes you along the ravine past the waterfall to the river where there's a nice lookout over the river.
