Great stroll by the river by the Mission area. There is a playground nearby.
Beautiful park in the middle of town.
Beautiful walking path
I caught my first fish in Wood's Park in 1986, and it's fond gardens and unchanged design of the park has always been a welcome riverside walk for many residents in the area. There is a small grassy beach in front of the wood cabin, which doesn't attract as many people as the other beaches nearby, even though it is one which faces south.
I really love this little park, I go there with my son and he can play in the playground as I drink my coffee overlooking the Elbow river. It is right on the pathway so we stop there with out bikes and keep going on our route without problems of crossing streets, etc. I only wish that building beside the park was a public washroom!
