We outfitted our nursery and gear for both kids from the West Coast Kids North Sarcee Location. Over the past 6 years we have purchased a full stroller travel system, second bucket car seat, 2 convertible child seats, high chairs, travel crib, wooden crib and mattress, linen and toys, etc. You get the picture. We love WCK and highly recommend them for all your growing family needs. Stylish and practical and we never felt that they were pushy or anything. We currently downsizing to an umbrella/compact stroller and Alicia was extremely helpful. Highly Recommend!!

My wife and I spent a fair bit of time reviewing their products and asking lots of questions. Dealing with Monica, she had all the right answers and was very honest. She is very knowledgeable on their product line and she was amazing to deal with.
You spend a bit more but the benefit is you get quality and everything you need under the one roof. Because of this we outfitted our complete nursery, travel gear, car seat, stroller etc. I recommend this store and dealing with Monica.

Great customer service from everyone that worked there. Although there was a sale on and the store was extremely busy we still had a very pleasant experience purchasing everything we needed for our nursary. Highly recommend shopping here for quality products and great service.

Here’s the good about this store. This is the place to go for quality items for your baby and kids. They have everything you can think of therefore it’s a one stop shop to get all you need and again good quality
and unique items. And if you catch their sales, it’s worth going.

We did find the manager to be quite nice, knowledgeable, helpful and she appreciated feedback. Also, some of the staff are knowledgeable and we had 1 staff member helping us with a car seat that we really enjoyed as she was genuine. And recently we had a great experience with the staff at the till.. they were awesome!!

Here’s the bad. We had a guy tell our daughter to stop playing with their stuffed toys on display on the beds. She had two stuffed animals she was role playing with. We get it, you don’t want kids playing with your displays but we were going to put it all back. He didn’t realize we were near by, and it came off very rude and I assume uncomfortable for a 6 year old to be scolded by a stranger. It’s hard to shop with kids, we all know this. We try to keep her by us, but it’s tough as they get bored easily. An idea is for the store to have a small kids table with crayons and colouring books tucked away somewhere to keep kids contained like some other stores we have been in do because sometimes it can take time to decide on baby items like car seats etc. I heard that particular staff member is gone, regardless, it would be great to have a little kid activity table to avoid kids going after your display items.

Heres the ugly. Every single time we have been to this location and it’s not busy, we have been followed around in the most uncomfortable and aggressive way. We will start in one area looking at something, with a staff member watching us like a hawk and go across the store and the same staff member will pop their head up within earshot of us, pretending to fix something already perfectly fixed on a shelf etc. We nearly felt we were being profiled, it was that bad. We can’t just roam around and discuss together what we need for our new baby and just enjoy shopping. The only time we notice we aren’t followed is when they are too busy to care.

I understand there is theft in retail, I get it but it’s taking things too far when you are so obviously following people. The days this happened we spent 1000 and then the other day 1100, we clearly aren’t stealing. My husband even put things by the till for them to keep for us to make them feel more at ease - we shouldn’t have to do this.

So it’s really hit and miss but clearly they have some militant protocols for theft or just a couple staff members that take things too far which is why they don’t get a 5 star rating from us.

Based on the above, if we continue to be followed, we won’t return unless we need a specific item that day and can’t wait for shipping. We will give them a few more visits to see how it goes - Again it might just be a few bad staff.
