(August 21, 2017, 4:23 am)Small town Alberta is synonymous with a small local Chinese and Western restaurant. Lucky Way is one of two in Carstairs and is pretty solid. We ordered a range of your standards for take out and were pleased. Sauces were tasty, noodles cooked nicely, and in general the food was a good quality. I did find the veg a bit over cooked, but flavour wise it worked well.
The staff were very friendly, and the restaurant was in good shape and very clean. Don't let the outside building (which is in rough shape) scare you off. The food is solid and well priced. Plus they are open late on Sundays.
This is also one of the few Western/Chinese places that still serves potstickers with red wine vinegar.
