First time there. Lots to see
What a community effort. A+
Great staff and neat artifacts that tell you a lot about the history of Didsbury
The building the museum is in is draped in history, and the staff have laid out each room beautifully! I was completely amazed with the sheer size of the museum in such a cute small town - we definitely needed more than one visit to see it all. The staff are always courteous and knowledgeable and I love how there are neat things to buy from local artisans! A favourite place.
Didsbury Museum is the best small town museum I've seen. Housed in the stately old School House I attended and displaying the phenomenal local history, it is worth every minute to learn from our past so our future is brighter. Special features are brought in like the recent surveyor's display which covered more than just local area interests. The staff are so well versed in the history they answer questions you don't even know to ask. I highly recommend you take time to pop in soon.
