  We had a fantastic time for a Guider function at this beautiful facility!!! The lunch was fabulous! Evan and Rena were such great hosts!! Would highly recommend The Ridge for any event!

  The ridge is a fantastic getaway from all the busyness, and yet still close to Calgary. Randy, Laura and their family are amazing hosts that make staying at the Ridge a absolute treat. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was warm. Great place to stay if you are looking for a place that feels secluded without a long drive.

  We just had our company Christmas party at The Ridge. I cannot recommend this place enough. Fabulous food, incredible service and a great venue. They provide a great atmosphere with beautiful decorating, music and lighting. You will not be disappointed.

  We had a surprise 50th Birthday Celebration in November 2018 at the Ridge. Both Randy and Laura were extremely friendly and accommodating. Randy has to be one of the most hospitable hosts, from numerous suggestions to the final performance. The venue was beautiful and all of the hors d'oeuvres were so delicious ! The staff were very professional and sociable. Would HIGHLY recommend The Ridge for ANY and ALL affairs that you want to have that personal attention to detail !

  We celebrated our wedding here in July 9, 2017 with a 50 person brunch. We were sold by the friendliness of Randy and Laura and the completely beautiful setting. They worked with our budget and it was a collaboration to make sure the day went off without a hitch and was what we pictured. It was beautiful and perfect, and a great place for us to host our families and friends. Would recommend them for any event or a stay or dinner. Cannot say enough good things about this venue and the people who run it.

The Perfect Getaway. The Ridge sits atop 7 acres in the Canadian Rocky Foothills just west of Okotoks, Alberta; minutes from Calgary. The salt box home design was built in 1999 by current owners Randy and Laura Sawatzky, who wanted to build a country style home that looked like it has always been there.
