As I sit and reflect on this past summer, my family and myself are grateful to have found a little camp site near Lacombe called Wilsons Beach. This camp site put many safety protocols into place to ensure the safety of its campers while allowing campers to sill enjoy the camping season during the Corona Virus pandemic. Having some camp sites designated for full time seasonal campers and some for weekenders, the combination of the 2 works well. It is like its own little community. The Camp management Melissa and her husband Sheldon and staff were amazing and inviting. The other campers full time and weekenders were both nice and friendly. Everyone made myself and my family feel like part of their little community. Wilsons Beach site offers a quiet environment with large sites, with a playground for the kids and a beach for relaxing and a dock for fishing and a boat launch. This little gem of a camp site is geared towards family. For those you that have teenage children you know how hard it can be to get them to spend time with you but after spending a few weekends there ours asked if we could come back next summer. This is a community my family and I look forward to spending many many more weekends there building memories that will last a lifetime. A big thank you to Melissa, Sheldon and family, as well as all the other campers we met. We had an amazing summer! Looking forward to the next.

Awesome time here this summer. Kids had a blast and considering the issues dealing with covid the campground was great. The lake is clean, fun for the kids and fishing was good. We will for sure be calling next summer to book some time here. Sheldon and Melissa are sorting this campground out and it will be better every year.
Very pleased :) . My first visit was only an over night stay; but I immediately impressed with the overall layout of the campsites, the cleanliness of the playground, the sandy beach and the clean bathrooms. After just a few hours I knew I wanted to book a campsite for the following weekend. Sheldon was most accommodating; my site was everything I wanted and more:
-reasonably priced, away from traffic, quite, peaceful, picturesque, safe, near to the beach, easy access to water and parking in proximity to my site. The bonus was seeing a deer with her young taking a leisurely stroll without a care in the world. We had a special treat in the afternoon - a food truck came in with freshly made warm mini donuts and 8 flavours of ice cream...All I can say is THANK YOU Sheldon and I can hardly wait until next summer... Cheers
This is simply a great place. Took the kids there and both sets of grandparents. The water is great for kids to swim in, the sites are well maintained and the property management and staff are pleasant to deal with. Great little vacation.
Absolutely beautiful campground! It's not a glorified parking lot. Great beach, super friendly seasonal campers and I felt completely safe letting my kids explore a little.
