Hoo-Doo Motel

You're getting what you're paying for here folks. Rooms are actually quite clean, basic dated furniture and decor, not the comfiest beds but were still fine enough for the night. Basic amenities, good location, fair price, free wifi (don't expect much on the TV) and overall excellent service from the owner/manager. Will be staying again next time we come through.

Place was great. Will stay here again. Forgot what it was like staying in a Motel met so many cool people staying there.

We were grateful to find a room on our last minute visit to Drumheller when all the hotels were booked. The staff at the HooDoo Motel were friendly and quick during the check-in process. Our room was clean, but dated. We paid 30% less than we would have at any of the hotels in town, but there are no comparable amenities (pool, breakfast). Overall good enough.

If you want to stay at a 5 star motel? This is not the place. This place, just as any has a plethora of pros and cons but I’ll focus on the pros. The rooms are warm in the winter and cold in the summer with an adjustable thermostat in each room. They contain all the necessary appliances, WIFI and TV is included and very comfortable and warm beds to ensure you feel at home away from home. The owner and staff are very accommodating, diligent, helpful and overall wonderful to deal with. I’ve never felt insecure to go to the front desk for assistance whenever it’s needed.
The prices are reasonable and this place is one that I’ve absolutely enjoyed staying at. Thanks Hoodoo!
