The pharmacists and staff are great. They're always kind and helpful.
Freshco- 1/5
Now that they switched from being a safeway to a freshco the policies aren't as good. I used to get my medications delivered, but now they'll only deliver if you have 3 prescriptions filled. The staff did make an exception once when I was sick. I appreciated that, but they aren't permitted doing it regularly.
The location is not the most physically accessible anymore. When the freshco reno happened they changed the layout so now you have to enter through one door and exit another. The doors are pretty far apart and theres no sidewalk to connect them. When you park close to the entrance, you're very far away from exit and vice versa. I'm able-bodied, but it sucks in the winter when it's cold and slippery.
Freshco is terrible and only exists because Sobey's Inc wanted to close Safeways that were unionized, lay everyone off, and rehire the staff at poverty wages.
Staff here are great and deserve better.
