First Step Daycare and Afterschool

This place is the hands down the best day care on the Northside, staff are amazing and treat the kids great, the owner seems like a very stand up guy and takes alot of pride in the daycare, it's always clean and there's lots of toys, crafts and activities for the kids. The hi mama updates are fantastic, the access to the cameras lets you check up on your child in real time and really gives you some peace of mind, if there was ever an incident it can always be reviewed.

We've been going here for 3 years now and soon our 2nd child will be going too, couldn't of asked for a better daycare, if your reading this and still unsure, just phone and talk to staff to book a visit you won't be disappointed.

Love love love!! First step. My daughter has been going here since she was one years old and now she’s four. She loves all the staff, it’s honestly like I have family watching my daughter. I highly recommend first step to all my friends and family!!

Very happy with this daycare. My little one is always so excited to go, and is learning lots! I really like that they have camera’s in the rooms so I can log in and check on my little one whenever I want :)

It is difficult to find a daycare that will accommodate the special needs of my child. While I moved to spruce grove I have kept my boy in firststep. Due to their caring atmosphere and dedication to the childern. They put the kids first with my boy autistic they work with him and encourage the other kids to understand him. With out first step I don't believe my son would be so good with other kids. They work with his case worker and lamp programs to accommodate his needs. I highly recommend this day care as they also accommodate my busy lifestyle. Knowing that my boy is welcomed like family I wouldn't have it any other way.
