“Have been taking piano lessons for a couple years with Bailey as my teacher, I’ve had no issues or complaints. The teachers are insightful and are there to help you learn about your instrument better, whether you practice on your own time to improve your skills further is up to you! If you’re looking for personal one on one classes you may have to discuss that with them because it tends to be more group lessons but sometimes that gives you that extra incentive to practice more and really test your skills.”

“I recently purchased a home and hoped to go with Jostar for a design consultation and hopefully a full design package. Unfortunately my husband and I were very disappointed with the experience. During the consultation the designer walked around our home but didn't ask us any questions or put in any effort to get to know us or what our needs were for furniture. She recommended IKEA kallax shelves three separate times, despite us saying that we didn't like them. She didn't take any measurements, and also didn't show us any pictures or design ideas. The designer said the consultation was supposed to take about 2 hours, but after 40 minutes she was done. We didn't feel like she gave us any helpful ideas nor did she give us any confidence that she would create a design that would be a good fit for us. She also quoted us about $10,000 per room as an average cost, which was surprising as she was recommending IKEA furniture for some parts. There was also no meaningful followup, even when I emailed her that it wasn't a good fit and we wouldn't be moving forward. I'm very disappointed as we had high hopes of working with Jostar, but based on my experience I would not recommend them. UPDATE: Joanna (the owner) called me to address my concerns and refund my fee for the consultation. I appreciated how she handled things and it was clear she did all she could to fix the situation. We have still decided to go with another company, but Joanna did apologize and handled the situation as best she could. I’ve updated my review to three stars based on my experience with Joanna directly.”

“Jorey hand-crafted and installed new feet for our sofa and loveseat to our exacting specifications. And we are very pleased with the result. His woodwork is beautiful, showing the grain through dark stain which matches exactly the colour of our credenza and dining room table and chairs. While this was a relatively small job, I would have no hesitation in contracting him to create large pieces of furniture like a table or a sideboard. He is without doubt a highly professional, skilled craftsman.”
