I have been coming to Planet Fitness (Mayfield common) since the day it opened, before that I was going to the St. Albert location. But Mayfield is my new HOME away from Home, the equipment is great, but the Staff- Teann, Val, Dahlia, Garret, Quinn, are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING PEOPLE. Not only is PF just a gym but it's a nice place to come and hang out chat with staff and some of the great members that I have made friends with. The is NO other club in the city that can compare.

An amazing gym. The first person to help me was a nice lady with platinum blonde and purple hair. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. She is just one of many great people working at planet fitness that will help you with information to help you reach your goals.

Simply the best!!! Not only do you get free gym memberships for making referrals but you can bring a guest as often as you like! And where else can you find a full gym, a separate TRX section; an incredible express workout section , a section with kettle bells, bands and other Things AND free standing or lying down tanning, full body red light therapy, combined tanning/red light beds, full body enhancement systems, hydrotherapy and deep tissue massage chairs for $25/ month???? Oh yes and access to every other planet fitness!! They even have an app telling you how busy the gym is at specific times!

Even better are the staff who provide the best in customer service! Love this place!!!

Great gym! This location has all brand new equipment and a lot of it. The space is large and has lots of room for free weights/ stretching as well. The change rooms are great, they have tons of lockers, bathrooms, separate change room & showers. & to top it all off the staff is great - always welcomed when coming in and always have a goodbye on the way out!

Best gym I have been to by far! I have been a member with a few other gyms in the past and this one beats them all & is way more affordable per month! The space is huge, lots of room to lay a mat down and do your own thing, tons of equipment and a variety of options. Bathrooms/ locker rooms are massive! They have showers and actual change rooms as well. The staff has also been great to deal with, very friendly and helpful, great customer service. We had an issue with the app and they responded very well and assured us the problem would be fixed asap.

My only complaint is with an individual staff member on New Years Eve. We wanted to get a quick hydro massage at around 6:35pm to determine if we wanted to upgrade to a black card yet she argued with us that because they were closing at 7pm she wouldn’t allow us to use the bed for 10 min…(she would have an entire 15 min to wipe down 1 bed after use). After arguing for a good 5 min (where we could have already been on the bed) Garret (another employee) saved us and set up the beds for us no questions asked and allowed for 10 min!! Very thankful for Garret. With our experience with this other lady we felt like we were not wanted there and were being pushed out, which is not a great feeling at all. Definitely hope we do not have to deal with her again in the future cause that was not pleasant or by any means great or even good customer service. After trying out the Hydro Massage, Garret even checked in with us in our way out, apologized that the hours were not advertised and wished us a happy New Years.
