We moved to the neighborhood about a year ago and have become regular customers at popowich. The steaks are always amazing. I especially like that on days I feel like celebrating there are often wagu steaks that taste heavenly. Definitely the best place in town for steak.

Outstanding. Mike (the owner) was incredibly friendly and quick to reply to my emails. Needed a specific chicken for hubby's birthday and he happily obliged, had it ready fresh the day promised, AND threw in a free birthday pickle. Warm, clean, inviting shop. A total gem in yeg!

Highest quality meat products I’ve found anywhere. Very friendly, knowledgeable staff that make me feel like family. They always come through with special requests, and even have cooking tips. You won’t go wrong here.

Excellent butcher! Had their ribeye steaks and Cumberland and spicy pesto sausages. The steaks were very tender and the sausages had a great flavour. Wonderful service. Will definitely be going back.
