“Neat place to visit, LOTS to look at and all the wares are very nicely displayed. Downside - it’s cash only (heard someone say the ATM is set to $7/withdrawl - which is awfully high….) AND some pretty steep product pricing (even for a tourist area) makes it a little hard to swallow…. That said - the ice cream was really good, waffle cone was crisp and what I’d expected, and the candy and fudge looked delicious. I’d come back for another cone after a good hike in the park.”

“The girl who took our orders was nice but one worker in the back wasn’t wearing gloves while touching the dough, it would have been fine except I saw him touch his hair and then the dough right after and that made me a bit uncomfortable.Besides that the food was great, and good enough prices (for waterton) they have multiple options and they all looked amazing. They have great seating and a supper cute atmosphere, I would definitely go back but hoping to see them wear gloves or just wash their hands after touching their hair.”

“9.1.23- I know the reviews are all over the place- but we had a great experience. Ordered to-go because it was a beautiful sunny day, and we wanted to eat picnic-style across the street on the beach. Ordered the Reuben and their famous fried chicken along with fries. Everything was super tasty, served up quickly, staff was nice, and prices reasonable. Fun quirky interior decor, even though we didn’t eat inside.”

“We all love their Ice creams. It was located right on the Marina. The store had a nice vibe to it with a lot to offer then ice cream. Staff were great and helpful. Overall highly recommend for quality ice cream. They had multiple flavors to offer in multiple variety of cones. Ample parking. You can enjoy the ice cream while enjoying the lake. Check out the images and follow for more.”

“Our breakfast was great. A bit pricey but then one must consider that you are eating a meal in a small resort village in the middle of a Mountain National Park, one of the more expensive locations in this province to find a meal. As it happens both of our meals were the same price... $14.95 each for the food and $2.95 each for the coffee. Each meal was $17.90 plus GST. In fairness to Pearl's Pantry, even though the food may not have seemed like much quantity- wise to see it on the plate it was exceedingly filling. My travel companion and myself both just barely made it through our breakfast orders. The quantity was absolutely sufficient for the price in this type of tourist spot but the quality was excellent. My companion had the blueberry waffle and I had the blueberry cream cheese stuffed French toast. Both items were absolutely delicious and very deceptively filling. Blueberry compote, lots of whipped cream, and mine included blueberry cream cheese; both set off with a little fruit cup... magnificent. And at the end of it all we weren't even charged for our coffee. Not sure why this happened but it made an already great breakfast a very good deal. Our waitress was very friendly and we chatted some, nice that she had the time to share a few words. This place is five stars in my book and I will be back here.”

“This small general country store surprisingly has a little of everything you may need and more. They even have a Canadian Wildlife version for the Monopoly game among other board games or toys which may be needed when it rains and one would need to stay indoors. From snacks to souvenirs, shirts, caps, mugs, you name it. It’s located right at one of the main areas, Windflower, where a lot of other businesses are.”

“During my visit, the place was exceptionally busy due to it being the weekend. I placed an order for 10 identical subs, but I observed that the service was not as fast as I had experienced at other locations. Despite the presence of four staff members, they seemed to be operating at a slower pace. This situation presents an opportunity for improvement and enhancing the efficiency of their service.”

“The atmosphere was average coffee house. The food/latte very average, kinda bland. The server were amazing they were very cheerful and helpful. A few GF options. The prices a little high, I think the 2017 fire and Covid has almost killed this town.”

“SARA! Was the BEST server anyone could ask for! The food was absolutely delightful and we even tried the Caesar! The Ham and Cheese French toast was astounding! I was oddly surprised by how good it was 😂 anyway, cannot thank SARA enough for the recommendations! Please come to this place! You won’t regret it!”

“The atmosphere at this place is incredibly serene and soothing, creating a calming environment. The staff is exceptionally friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. I thoroughly enjoyed my caffe mocha, and the place itself was impeccably neat and clean.”

“The braised short ribs were pretty good, tender, flavourful, side vegetables were plentiful. I would definitely order it again. The calamari was okay, they were small and had a lot of batter so it was more crispy calamari rather than the fried calamari you would expect to order in a restaurant (usually tender with a bit of crisp outside). The key lime pie was a disappointment. It was basically a glass full of whipped cream, barely a small teaspoon of graham crumbs and the lime taste was so light probably because there was so much cream. Our friend ordered the recommended chocolate cake and it was cold and tasted like store bought frozen cake. We asked about this and we were told that it was baked and delivered by a supplier. The key lime cream was done in-house, by the kitchen. The desserts could afford a change to bring it up to the level of the service, the interiors and some of the food. There is a huge window across the room with a spectacular view. It was worth going to eat in the restaurant just to get that openness. Service was good too. The design of the interiors is excellent, one of the better places in the area, I appreciated the way it was designed, much like a cozy, well appointed cottage.”

“Visited here for lunch during camping and the food tasted very good. We had a puppy and they accommodated us in their patio. Waitress are good however we ended waiting longer for food though the restaurant was not that busy. Chicken wings are good but cauliflower is not deep fried. I would give them five star but for the prolonged wait time I am rating them four star”

“The highlight of my stay was the warm welcome I received from the front desk staff, particularly Matt. His friendly demeanor and genuine interest in our plans and hiking preferences made us feel valued as guests. Matt went above and beyond by providing us with a wealth of hiking recommendations. He took the time to write down the trail names for us, which was extremely helpful. His knowledge of the area and enthusiasm for outdoor activities added a personal touch to our stay. The room we stayed in offered good value for the price we paid. While it may not have been the most luxurious accommodation I've experienced, it had all the essential amenities one would need for a comfortable stay. The room provided shampoo, conditioner, paper cups, a fridge, and a microwave, among other conveniences. However, it's worth noting that slippers, toothpaste, and toothbrushes were not provided, so remember to bring your own.”

“What a great restaurant. It is family owned and much of the staff are family. Located on the main road in Waterton. The food was a bit pricey but the chef got it right. Great flavor and presentation and the service was quick. Definitely worth the visit.”

“The owners are the nicest guys. Their employees are so helpful with more information about the park than many parks workers. Also, you’ll find some of the best souvenirs in the whole park at Pat’s. They don’t even charge a park premium for food and other items that lots of other stores in the park tack on. The bike rentals are fantastic and they are so helpful. All around probably the best business in Waterton. Plus the kids love to ride their horse Thunder when we visit. All the joy of visiting Waterton starts and ends at Pats.”

“Had a wonderful anniversary dinner in the restaurant. The dining room is cozy with a fireplace and views of the lake. Food was very good, I would absolutely recommend the brussel sprouts. I had the 80z striploin steak and my wife had the salmon. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Thanks so much for a lovely dinner to celebrate 18 years with my beautiful wife! We also stayed the night in the hotel, very nice room, bed was comfortable. Room was clean and cozy. Nice vaulted ceilings in the deluxe king room on the second floor. The hotel is smaller which is great as it was very quiet. Great views of the lake on one side and the mountains from the other I would recommend reservations to the restaurant, it was the off season when we came so the dining room wasn't very busy, but I am sure it can get very busy during the regular season.”

“We had lunch at Stanley's BBQ Grill House after a round of golf at the adjacent course. The service was fast and friendly and the wings that I had were very, very good. Ed was pleased with his burger and Caesar salad. Even if you're not playing golf, I'd recommend having a bite to eat here. Prices are reasonable, the views are beautiful and it's fun to watch folks practice putting.”
