Banff Fishing Guides (Fly Fishing)

We had the most amazing day ice fishing with Jim! We both caught 7 lake trout each and are taking 3 to a restaurant in Banff tonight where the chef will prepare the fish for us to eat - all organised by Jim.
It was a beautiful blue bird day, and a beautiful spot to fish from! We also saw Moose on the drive and Jim pulled over for us to get a closer look. Couldn’t recommend this enough!

This was an amazing experience. Jim had the patience of a saint. If you're a newcomer you're in good hands! Luckily I was an avid fisherman prior but I could tell he treated everyone the same! If I ever come back to canada he will be on my list of things to do again. Well supplied and even a better wealth of knowledge! Thanks for the great time and money well spent!

My now fiancé and I got in touch with Jim, we though a touch too late to book a trip fishing at the end of August. He was able to fit us into his busy schedule for a full day trip of great fishing. He was personable, charismatic, and provided easy to understand instruction on basics and more technical aspects of fly fishing. Not to mention we caught plenty of fish to go around! I hope anyone in need of a guided trip would at least reach out to him and see if he could squeeze you in too, can't recommend him enough!!!

We booked Jim to drive us from Calgary to Banff and back for our honeymoon. He was polite, funny, and accommodating. He had great advice to share about what to do and where to eat while staying in Banff. We would definitely recommend him!

I recently attended a wedding at the Banff Springs hotel, and rather than staying in Banff at a hotel overnight myself and a group of wedding guests had decided to book a car to drive us back from Banff to Calgary. I had come across the Banff Chauffeur website and contacted Jim to inquire about booking his service. Jim was prompt at responding, very organized and agreed to pick us up at our requested time, taking 6 passengers back to Calgary. He was extremely professional. He called ahead the day of to confirm booking, let us know where to find him, and how to contact him should we have any issues or changes to our plans. He followed through exactly as planned, picked us up right on time and was patient as we collected our group. He even brought us cold water and iced tea for the trip. Extremely friendly and polite, everyone in the group would recommend his service!
