This restaurant was on my list since a very long time, I’m glad that my husband and I went during our stay in Lake Louise,
This elegant restaurant has left the best impressions on us, Hospitable staff, delicious dishes, wonderful desserts . I recommend to everyone who is visiting Lake Louise!
This restaurant has a great ambience, lovely food and it's great to watch the long trains passing by.
We made a reservation before we left the UK as Lake Louise doesn’t have many restaurants and not many take a reservation.
The restaurant is located at the end of a short road following the Bow River in the old Lake Louise station house. It is a very grand building with high ceilings and lots of space for diners. The tables are very well spaced out.
For our starters, we shared a good sized portion of coconut shrimp.
For the mains, my hubby had the pork schnitzel and I had the bison lasagne. Again, the portion sizes were generous and hot. Both meals were delicious.
There are lots of tables in areas you can't see so how busy it was, I don't know. The central section where we were located was busy though and the service was good.
Not the cheapest place to eat in Lake Louise, but you get what you pay for. We had 3 nights and 3 places to eat and this was the most formal of the 3. The service was very good, the food and food choices were excellent and I would recommend eating here.
Total bill with tips $137, £84
An excellent restaurant in the lake Louise village area. Although we did not dine in the railway car, the restaurant was also well decorated with railways history. Food was good and service was quick. As this place is a little outside the main lake Louise village area, it was peaceful. Also the adjacent area around the restaurant is beautiful to spend some time.
We had our wedding ceremony out in the back garden, and it was beautiful! When it came time for dinner, They were very accommodating with the dietary restrictions of some of our guests, and all of the food was absolutely incredible (especially the tenderloin and the chocolate molten cake!). The vibes of the private room we were in were incredible, and I cannot recommend them more.
My husband and I are from Florida, and we visited this restaurant after a long day at Morraine Lake and Lake Loise. Thankfully, we came when they were about to open for the evening hours and were able to be seated at a table, but we highly recommend making a reservation since many people were turned away if they didn't already have one. We ordered salmon and a bacon wrapped beef tenderloin with potatoes, and everything was delicious! For dessert, we had a strawberry rhubarb that was also delicious. Our server, Megan, was so sweet and provided spectacular service to us. We would definitely visit this spot again if we're ever in town.
