Timberwolf is a restaurant attached to the Lake Louise Inn but it caters for non-residents. We went for an evening meal in early July and it was very busy. We were given a pager as there were no tables available and had to wait around 20 minutes. Given we were non-residents, we had nowhere to sit and wait so just loitered around downstairs and just outside the main hotel lobby.
This place had a more café vibe than a restaurant as the turnover was high. It is located upstairs by the reception area of the Inn and I found the area quite dark.
Food is mainly pasta and pizza. We had pizza. We ordered some garlic bread to start which meant that we couldn’t eat the pizza we each ordered. All food was served hot and service was good. Not much else you can really say about pizza. Cost wise for two people, one starter, two pizzas, couple of bottles of beers and a soft drink $120, £73.
Lake Louise doesn’t have many restaurants so if you are staying longer than a couple of days, you will struggle to find more formal places to eat.
Pasta was delicious,, the lasagna tasted awsome and waygu meatballs with spaghetti tasted good ,pizza was great!!,,they said it wasn't busy it seemed like a busy place to me,, I wonder what busy means to them maybe like a line up to be seated. But other then that it has a nice atmosphere and nice place to eat.
Although we didn't stay at the Lake Louis Inn, we enjoyed two dinners there over two nights. They offer a diverse menu and serve exceptionally delicious meals. I adore the ambiance of the restaurant. Upon entering, you're greeted by a lofty atrium with wooden architecture, and I'm particularly fond of this kind of design. Adjacent to the main hall, there's also a cozy waiting area designed with a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Restaurant fills up quick so get there earlier rather than later if possible. We were seated straight away but once it was full we did see some people taking buzzers and waited to be seated but didn’t take long as turnover is quick. The menu is great, we went both nights we stayed there and got the lasagne, meatballs, caesar salad and dessert. Service is quick and the staff are very friendly. Great atmosphere and great food. Highly recommend! Celine - Sydney, Australia
Food is good. The pizza is the best I have for recent years. The seafood pasta tastes great but volume is not enough. I wish the service is as good as the food. The beeper doesn’t work and we have waited extra time. No apology was given. We did come back to check a few times to find out. And the waiter is busy with customers that order wines. You get second class service if you don’t order these expensive items.
