“Have been here twice with Scouts. Fab location. Lots of space. Excellent activities for the youth. A major negative is no running water for sanitation at the campsite which poses a health concern for large groups of young kids using the vault toilet in proximity to the mess hall. Alcohol sanitizer gels are ineffective for the common pathogens that cause diarrhoea and vomiting. Kids must take a 5 minute walk to a bathroom block to wash their hands. Camp Woods is otherwise a great place for small groups OR for larger groups that are able to organise satisfactory sanitation at their campsite/mess hall.”
