Must visit fall from the down and up side. Good site for the camping.
Sometimes you need wait for parking for 10-20 min(only 9-10 parking lot on one side). You can park on side of the road also.
Water is not drinkable so must keep your water bottle with you.
This place is beautiful and not hard to find. Parking is just in the front of the lake. Not big as Niagara Falls but it has its own beauty and character. Worth the visit, my family and I enjoyed our trip.
It is a beautiful spot to stop in and enjoy the falls. There are plenty of viewing locations and even a short path to the river below the falls, which is an excellent view. This spot is close to many gorgeous provincial parks as well. The only downside to this place is that there is very limited parking, and the rest rooms are very outdated and are basically just a stinky hole in the ground.
I don't know how many times I have driven by this oasis and have never stopped until a friend made us all stop. Wow. It was spectacular and the stairs down to the bridge were a great means to getting a little exercise before continuing on our way again. There were some great looking camping spots after the bridge... Those looked like they would be perfect for a quick little vacation for another day. It was tempting to want to do yoga with the beautiful view of the waterfalls, but that will also have to wait for another day!
Nice little spot close to the highway. Lovely views from the top and at the bottom of the falls.
A plaque states that this place was submerged under water in prehistoric times and signs of it are visible on the stratified rocks around.
Small trails around the falls to view from both ends. Not much to do otherwise since there aren’t any shops or concessions around. It does have a washroom although cleanliness can be a bit of concern.
