So our old car gave up on us & we urgently needed one. We decided to shop & buy the car that we REALLY wanted.

My wife & I are picky (to say the least) in choosing & buying stuff. We did our homework in getting our next car, (visited four different dealerships in Red Deer & called/emaild a few ones in Edmonton before meeting with Mr. Kerwin) - and so, when we went to discuss our potential purchase with Mr. Kerwin Nad, we brought a sackload of questions with us. And Kerwin gave well-informed answers to each one, to the tiniest detail. He really knows what he is doing!

Very easy to deal with, not pushy, very honest, very knowledgeable and he did all he could to give us the perfect deal to suit our budget without losing the best perks. He didn't employ any industry tricks just to close a sale with us & even though there is a shortage of new vehicles, he got us a vehicle we really liked (color/trim/model) & we were sold on getting the car that day.

Except that we didn't buy it.

Well, my wife & I have this agreement that we don't let our emotions decide on the spot so we told him, we'll let him know the next day (although deep inside I was worried sick another client might snag our car!) and we were still looking for a better deal than what he was offering. And then, a dealership in YEG offered us a number that was too good to be true.

We informed Mr. Kerwin about this & he tried his best to match their offer (eventually it turned out the YEG offer was a sales tactic, a sneaky move to get us buying from them - I won't further go into the details). Mr. Kerwin, with his experience in this industry for so long, gave us his honest opinion, especially the pros & cons on the YEG deal compared to what he was offering.

He introduced us to Mr. Gary Bugarin, one of the cool ones at the dealership, and he helped us with the paperwork. Then in the afternoon, Mr. Kerwin took time from his busy sched & picked us up personally from our apartment to collect "Midnight", our new Hybrid SUV.

Driving in a snowstorm a couple of weeks ago, my 2017 Santa Fe Sport was showing a flashing check engine light. I stopped at Gary Moe Hyundai to have it checked out. While in the service bay, sales associate Brian Renaud approached me and asked if I'd like to have my SUV appraised. I told him to go ahead. He returned a short time later with an appraisal amount that piqued my interest. I saw a pearl quartz white 2022 Santa Fe on the lot, we made a deal and I returned the following week to take delivery of it. The service staff were prompt, friendly and dealt with my situation immediately. Brian was upfront, knowledgable, friendly and helpful with all of my questions.
