Lash Up

I thought the lash techs at this location were so skillful and wonderful. I really loved my lashes when I got them done here. I like that the salon had sensitive glue. That made a huge difference for me even though jt doesn't last as long as the other glue as my eyes would water so badly with the other glue.

However, I was asking for a cat eye and it continually looked droopy. We tried to problem solve by adding a c curl at the salon. At another salon, I found out that it's because my eye shape goes down and so there is an alternative style called the kitten which looks like a cat eye but for down turned eyes. I honestly didn't know this and had looked things up on the internet but this just goes to show that client education is important. Employee education is important. I wonder does lashup teach their employees what lash shape is the best for each eye shape? It could have saved me a lot of frustration and money to know this beforehand.

Additionally, I found out that if a client cancels their appointment, the lash tech does not get paid for that time. They are "allowed to leave" as they do not have a client. But what can that lash tech really do with an hour? Or two even? When they have another appointment after or before. And those people may cancel too. A lash tech could show up to work with a full schedule and if every person cancels, then they don't get paid for the day. It's a really poor policy. Protect your workers. Pay your workers a good living wage. A good company to me, treats their employees well, which is the main reason I took my business elsewhere.

Staff are always friendly, they offer silent appointments, locations are always clean, if you have any issues with a service they are happy to discuss with you.

Sydney D. is the BEST! It's like going to have a girl's day when I get to see her. The studio is impeccable, as is the service! I won't stray from her! She is phenomenal!
