Not Fat Franks

I keep telling myself I shouldn't go back, but it's literally impossible to resist. The shame I feel after... It is as though I watch myself from above, or maybe from further back inside my brain, engaging in a gluttonous festival of meat and meat. It is beyond the reach of confession and I must needs be rebaptized.

Did you know aioli was just mayo and seasoning salt? You do now.

I wasn't expecting such blue ribbon attention to a mere hamburger and fries. The chef at Not Fat Franks is clearly overqualified for this greasy spoon. That said, I ordered at precisely 8:07 and 30 seconds on a Saturday. I can't vouch for the quality during any other time of day or day of the week.

Honestly, I wasn't expecting much going in to it based on their Google page and lack of a website. Not to be disrespectful, but it looks like someone just threw this online as a joke but BOY WAS I WRONG! Took forever to get my order too, but once it arrived and finally hit my lips, I was blown away by the authenticity of the flavours, the juiciness of the meats and the overall feeling of being transported to the Southern US in all its cookout glory!

I WILL come again!
