Del-Rio Jiujitsu Academy

I bring my kids here for classes 3 days a week. The instructor is amazing with the kids. Some days the class has 12 or more kids and some days only my kids have shown up but either way each kid gets attention and instruction. There are easy kids and more difficult kids in the class but he manages all the behaviours really well. The kids get pushed hard and don’t get away with fooling around.

My kids have done other martial arts but the hands on nature of jujitsu has been amazing for their confidence and they are excited to come every class. When they are sick I have to tell them they can’t go.

I am very happy with the progress my boys have made and I feel like they are not just learning jujitsu but also valuable life lessons about struggling, resiliency and the value of being consistent and working hard even in uncomfortable situations.

There are adult classes as well I am excited to be planning on joining in the near future in order to be able to keep up with my kids.
