“Best zipline tour on all of Vancouver Island!! My mom and I had an AMAZING experience at WestCoast WILD Zipline tour. Our guides Ricky and Jackie were amazing and such great storytellers! The zipline experience was breathtaking, we learned about the area, and the views from the zipline platforms were gorgeous. 10/10 highly reccomend doing this zipline experience on your way to Ucluelet/Tofino or on your way out!”

“This is one of the most majestic places I've been to on the island. This entire area is a beautiful campground. The Secret Beach kayak launch is in a nice spot at the bottom of the hill. Also at the campgrounds at the other end is a brand new marina. This marina now has a break water around it with more slips for boats to tie up to. If your looking for a place to camp and enjoy this is it.”

“Pretty nice spot, camp sites are meh and pretty close together. They have no portable water which would have been good to know as I was on a motorcycle and can only carry so much. I was expecting g to fill my water when I got there. Luckily I had the technology to filter water so I pulled from a nearby stream. Staff was really friendly and helpful, especially the front desk girl. Owned by the local First Nation, so I was happy to support the business. Still pretty rough, but the place has a lot of potential.”

“Hard to get there without a 4WD, it‘s a really bad and at some points steep gravel road with a lot of potholes (10km long until the trailhead), the hike itself is very steep but beautiful in the middle of the wilderness and definitely worth the view”

“Bamfield Lodge has wonderful accommodations in the most beautiful place. The lodge is newly updated with the features you could ask for in a quaint fishing town. Loved the extra touches such as spices, bbq and outdoor table and chairs. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have slept on. Dock and fish cleaning areas were spotless and loved the seating. They packaged our fish exactly as we wanted. Any questions we had were promptly answered. I look forward to coming back again soon.”

“I wish I'd taken a photo of our food but, unfortunately, we were all too hungry and devoured it too quickly. I had the tempeh tacos, kids shared fries and my husband had the Tsunami Salad with chicken. Everything was beautifully presented and insanely delicious - some of the best fries I've *ever* had! Service was great and friendly (including colouring books for the kids) and the atmosphere cannot be beat.”

“Though we did not stay here it seems to be a nice hotel along the Bamfield Inlet. It has a beautiful outdoor setting with beautiful cottages and surroundings. The Waterfront Boardwalk runs from the Coast Guard building and ends at the entrance of Mills Landing. We were here in August 2019 and walked along the Inlet quite often.”

“An amazing West Coast oasis!!! This gem is tucked away at the end of a channel where it opens up into a small bay with a floating lodge. They were working on several upgrades and additions to enhance the current facilities. It's a perfect location for a bit of a cyber holiday, but has wifi if you need it. Really good food and plenty of it! A great fish cleaning station with plenty of freezer storage.”

“We worked with Owen to seal up our recently purchased 120yr old home, that had for many years been the residence of squirrels and rats. Owen was able to confirm and identify the entry points and provided a solution at a reasonable price. We have not seen or heard evidence of rodents in the house since. Owen was very professional, considerate, and flexible with working around our baby's nap schedule as well. I highly recommend Owen and his team for all of your pest management needs.”

“Had a great time for my first-ever stay at Harbourside Lodge. The location's stunning and the staff are like a big family; really welcoming and friendly. The owners are always around and really hospitable. Beds are great, and kitchen is well-equipped for making meals. Brian was our guide and really helpful, patient and friendly. “Stopped by for tacos from the Kraken food truck and ice cream from Dellas. We had two fish and two pork tacos and they were delicious. The guy working in the truck was super nice and made some great suggestions. After tacos we grabbed ice cream from Dellas. The young people working there were also really friendly. Great service. If you are at Sproat Lake or on your way to Tofino, this is a great place to stop.”

“Let me begin by stating that I don't provide many reviews, unless the experience was horrible, or amazing- and this was definitely the latter. On October 14, 2023, my husband and I were married and hosted our reception at the Sproat Lake Landing Resort. We hosted 30 people, and it was nothing short of a terrific experience. We worked closely with the Manager, Sam, who assisted us greatly with bringing everything together. His vast experience and knowledge in event planning, combined with his easygoing attitude made what can be a stressful undertaking, effortless and enjoyable. The restaurant was perfect for our small wedding, our guests loved being able to enjoy the deck overlooking the lake throughout the evening. The food can often make or break a wedding, and the food was excellent (the lobster mac n' cheese side was loved by all). Everything was perfectly cooked, and the right temperature (cold and hot). We cannot say enough good things about the Staff at the resort. Sooo very friendly and they were completely focused on providing a memorable experience - and it was. April and Amber especially made the night fun for us and our guests. Many of our guests stayed at the resort, as did we, and the rooms were very clean, well designed, comfortable, and the views are spectacular. It was very convenient for our guests to stay at the resort. We have received feedback from our guests, and not a single person had anything but high praise for the entire experience. Many spoke of the possibility of hosting their future special events at the resort. We would not hesitate to host another event here!”

“Heard a lot about the Drinkwaters Lounge and finally tried it out. Pretty disappointing. View is nice. Fish and chips was average. Pulled pork Mac and cheese was below average. Old fashioned was average. Saw that they are charging $30 for..... Nachos. And an extra $10, if you want meat on them. Pretty wild pricing. Also saw so many dead little flies on the window sill beside us. Counted over 20. When we notice stuff like that you wonder how dirty other places in the restaurant are.”
