I typically don't write reviews, but I just have to RAVE about the clinics laser Tech & LPN, Nurse Katy! This lady! With her knowledge & nursing background, the charismatic and professional approach, made my visits so much more enjoyable and smooth (Just like my skin, post treatment!😋)!
I must admit i was a little nervous getting a laser treatment done, I had heard laser only works on some people & without Katy's exceptional knowledge on their equipment & her ability provide effective and safe laser treatments, I don't think I would have been comfortable trying! but i am so glad i did! Katy is always welcoming and upholds the salons professional, clean, friendly standards you would hope to see in a laser clinic!😊 She is extremely knowledgeable about ALL their products and services...You will not be disappointed! 100% recommend giving this place a try, you will not be disappointed!

I absolutely 💯 recommend this awesome salon! They are friendly, talented, professional and you always feel like you are being treated special! Kristie is always welcoming and maintains a professional, clean, friendly environment!😊 Amber is the most Amazing hairdresser....truly one of the best I have ever had! She is kind, caring, compassionate and is talented beyond belief! I always leave with exactly what I wanted and then some! 😉 They are extremely knowledgeable about ALL their products and services...and even though I no longer live in Port Alberni...it is still my go to place for all my hair needs! You will not be disappointed!

Luxia Beauty Bar is a beautiful place to get pampered. Along with the excellent treatment and services offered, you will leave feeling rejuvenated, and pampered. Kristy is so knowledgeable on her services and products. Services are of the highest, up to date quality and her products are medical grade. Kristy is excellent at assessing skin problems and providing treatment plans. Kristy and her team are professional and amazing!!

I have been going to Luxia since it opened and everytime I go, I receive exceptional service. I have been to Amber a few times and she never disappoints! I have had cuts, colours and extensions. Kristy is extremely knowledgeable with skin care. I did a consultation with her and she put me on a regime. I have also done some facials and lasering.
My skin has never felt more healthier. I have sensitive skin due to my dermatographia and I was using tall the wrong products (not from this beauty bar) prior to seeing her. I have also had laser hair removal and it worked like a charm. I haven't received services from the other ladies yet but each time I see them they are polite and professional. I am always greeted with a smile.

Wether you are wanting laser hair removal, high quality skin care products, ILP, the skin pen or any of the other services provided, I would recommend Luxia based on my personal experience. I have noticed Kristy is always striving to bring in new services and regularly updates her equipment to ensure she is providing high quality treatments. I always look forward to my treatments with Kristy! Additionally, my son since he was 3 years old will only let Amber cut his hair and we highly recommend Amber as well!
