(October 23, 2018, 4:54 pm)I'm currently taking Jessy's apprenticeship program and I'm devastated that it's almost over. This has literally been the best experience of my life. Jessy is extremely knowledgeable, I could study with her for years and still not know the half of it. Jessy's assistant Harmony is equally amazing. Not only is she another wealth of plant knowledge, but she's amazingly talented in astrology. Her monthly horoscope sessions are so rewarding.
The farm they've created is the most exceptional and beautiful gift I could imagine. Jessy is providing access to hundreds of medicinal plants that otherwise, we would have no living contact with. The ability to work hands on with these plants, in such a positive and nurturing environment is irreplaceable. And you don't have to be a student to access these plants! Jessy is so generous that she lets anybody come out and enjoy the farm. She sells medicines she's made, seeds, fresh plants for harvest, and potted plants. I honestly can't say enough about Fireweed Farms. I highly suggest you take the time and check it out. Thank you so much Jessy and Harmony!

(August 10, 2018, 5:29 am)I recently took the Herbal First Aid class with Harmony and it was fantastic. She is a knowledgeable and enthusiastic instructor and by the time class was over I felt capable of identifying many herbs on my own when I come across them in the wild. The farm itself is lovely and the open classroom was a great setting. I highly recommend going if you have the opportunity.

Jessy’s grounded presence, openness, and seemingly boundless knowledge of the native plant species and their medicines is truly a gift to learn from. I look forward to my next opportunity to attend another walk, class, or workshop with her.
