“Uptown Movers came to our rescue today. Yesterday we closed on our first home purchase. It started snowing a couple days before our closing and by yesterday we had over a foot of snow. Then yesterday our elevator broke down. The other movers we had scheduled didn’t want to move us down 4 floors and advised us to cancel. Then we found out that the elevator was leaking hydraulic fluid and will likely be out for a month or longer. Christmas is in 3 days. And I was crushed. I reached out on Facebook and someone from Uptown Movers said to call and they would make the move happen for us. I couldn’t believe that they were willing to do that for us! Not only was it 3 days before Christmas, our parking was horribly filled with snow and we were four floors up with no elevator and tiny stairwells!!! The elevator company ended us calling us last minute and telling us that they would open the elevator for our move but no people were allowed in which saved us a lot of work, but I have no doubt that they would have moved us down all of those stairs. I can not tell you how grateful I am to Uptown Movers!! Thank you guys to the moon and back. I will recommend you to everyone I know. Your guys are professional kind and more than willing to go the extra mile. I am very grateful!”

“Sheps helped me with my move from Vancouver to Victoria and I have only positive things to say! They were the most affordable moving company I contacted (out of 4 companies we contacted). From start to finish the experience was great and accompanied by some laughs. Darin and Kevin were the movers and were profession and super careful with all of my belongings and house plants! Everything arrived in perfect condition and all of their equipment was clean, including their truck. Highly recommend them!!”

“Amazing experience. Dan the assessor was super polite, professional and accurate! We decided to move a week earlier and Greaves kindly accommodated the change at a moments notice. The four men who showed up were on time, professional and very, very hard working. They took good care of our home by bringing and laying their own runners, disassembling and reassembling furniture and wrapping up fragile or breakable pieces. They put everything in our new home as per our labelled boxes - nothing out of place! They were so nice and so fast!! I highly recommend this team. Thank you Greaves!! ???”

“Sweenie is the best moving company I've ever dealt with. They are fast, on time, efficient and professional. I had them do a small move and a larger in town move for me. They moved over 20 glass display cases, including overnight storage, with absolutely no damage to any of them. I've used other movers and am often shocked at the condition of the equipment and the ratty appearance of their employees. Sweenie's trucks are clean and well kept, their gear is well maintained and their guys are wearing Sweenie shirts and look professional. Denise in the office is fantastic to deal with as well, I can't say enough about how good this company is. They are not the cheapest (they are also not the most expensive) but they are upfront about their costs and the peace of mind is worth it. They've earned a customer for life.”

Not sure about that - if knowing where your shipping from and shipping too, and how big a thing your shipping is all the info that is required - confusing /?? - Rest of life must be a hell of a roller coaster for you !!! Comox are great, office friendly, warehouse staff always go the extra mile and guys and gals on the road always with a smile - Can highly recommend. [maybe add opening times to google page only complaint !]”
