What a great hike and destination. It is beautiful. Kids did just fine with it. Gorgeous views/ scenery.
A good little hike, poorly planned on my part could have brought snacks and water for the kids. But my 5 and 7 year old made it to the summit no problem. If you bring kids I strongly encourage proper foot wear and a small lunch
great hiked would recommend it to more experienced outdoors-men being you can become very lost very easily and the path can be a bit treacherous at times dependent on weather.
It does sport a gorgeous view and a challenge to conquer.
Only a small hill but still a challenge in snow despite well marked trails which did fade out occasionally.
No obvious summit and mostly covered in trees. Great views open up though on approach from south near summit area.
Plan on an hour or less to the summit on this moderate level hike if you're reasonably fit. A well worn trail with yellow arrows will guide your way. Continue past the summit elevation sign about 100m and you'll discover a clearing to have lunch. With a quick descent, plan on two or three hours to enjoy this hike. Mornings will bring a lovely light show as the sun filters through the trees. Recommend.
