I like the store, I like the selection, and I like being able to find more local and niche stuff than many other stores.
Where this store really fails is in merchandise turnover. The naan bread on the bottom shelf is always moldy. I have to keep reminding myself to check best before dates on food because I frequently wind up with an expired item. Today it was farmer's sausage that I forgot to check, and was eleven days past its best before date. This is not a covid-related understaffed type issue, either, as it definitely happened before.
I do like the store; it's clean and the staff are always friendly.
This grocery store is bright, clean, and the staff are always friendly. The bakery, meat, and deli areas are excellent! Plus I love the neon decorations on the signs inside. They have an AMAZING selection of hot sauces - probably the best I've seen in town!
This grocery place and Red Barn are quality. I have found in my experience at some other grocery places veggies and fruit have been moldy or go bad really fast. At Millstream I have not experienced that and I really like that they have a good selection on organic items. I like the vibe and atmosphere as well as the lighting. It feels relaxing to come here. Yes things are on the high end but you're paying for better quality.
Unique products with a large variety of good. Downside is the price as it is more than an average grocery store. Certainly a good place to go to find more unique items.
Bakery goods are excellent.
Very wide selection from basic produce carrot and lettuce to the more exotic English blood sausage, haggis, ostrich ground meat. A whole British section to kambucha taps. I was very impressed with this store.
