“Casey’s Coffee is a cozy coffee shop with many different snacks and drinks, and even ice cream! Friendly staff and a comfortable environment to enjoy a chat and the baked goods (I recommend the butter tart… and the lemon poppyseed muffin). Everything was so clean and the coffee was fantastic. I’ll definitely be back.”

“Absolutely love this store! From all the Starbucks in town this one tastes the best. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Special shout-out to DJ and Sesilla for making our days and our coffees!”

“Pure Vanilla sells what my son and I both consider to be, the very best cup of drip coffee in all of Victoria! How I wish they'd open branches, in other locations!! It is a perfect choice for a cup of coffee, or tea, or cocoa, accompanied by a delicious offering of baked goods, ranging from cheesecakes, scones, cookies, muffins, cakes, tarts, and more. They sell very good quality, sweet and savoury, baked goods. Pure Vanilla also offers delicious homemade soups, lunches, and salads. They have outdoor seating. Highly recommended for a quick breakfast, lunch, snack, or more.”

“This cafe is really cozy and has a wonderful atmosphere. The coffee and tea selections are great and the sandwiches are tasty. The desserts and pastries are just ok. Often they taste dry, and day-old and the pastries seem mass produced and are not very fresh or flakey. They definitely need work on their dessert selections or at least need to get another supplier for such an upscale hotel and area.”

“A decent little snack shop. Mostly pre-prepared stuff.”

“A bit overpriced and hours could be better, but it is a good spot for a coffee shop. Options are very limited, considering this spot used to be Casey's Market. Drip coffee is mediocre; however, their espresso-based drinks are much better.”

“Wonderful, simply wonderful. Cozy too. Delightful desserts and pastries and full bodied coffee. Undercover outdoor seating was comfortable, and in the winter there are heaters and blankets provided”

“We are so relieved to see that the Oaks has brought good character back to Oak Bay. And it's character is compatible with how the Blethering Place was. The Oaks has friendly staff; and also gorgeous carved wood tables throughout. It has become a favourite for both my daughter and me.”

“I have finally found a good cup of coffee so perfect I literally enjoyed every sip and didnt need to add a thing. My only issue is that it's on the opposite side of the city and i cant have it whenever i want. Was it a one cup wonder? I wont know until I visit you again. Looking forward to that.”

“Nothing fancy about the ambiance, but phenomenal coffee at this place! Lots of baked goods to choose from and a good breakfast sandwich, too. Owner is very sweet!”
